Mark Shaw founded the business in 2003 and continues to manage the day to day running of the business while looking after client families and carrying out embalming.
Neil Diack joined Mark Shaw Funeral Services as a funeral director in 2016 after a number of years working with other local funeral firms. Neil is generally based at our George Street Office.
Michelle has worked for Mark Shaw Funeral Services since 2012, and has become a qualified funeral director. She is generally based at our Abbotswell Crescent Office and deals with all aspects of funeral arranging and conducting.
Anne-Marie first joined Mark Shaw Funeral Services in 2005 and looks after company administration as well as funeral arrangements
Kris Milne has been with Mark Shaw Funeral Services since 2017 and has qualified through the Independent Funeral Directors College. He is involved with all practical aspects in the business, funeral arranging and looks after our coffin stock.
David Abel, a retired Police Inspector joined Mark Shaw Funeral Services in 2018 as a chauffeur bearer.
Alison began working with the business initially part time, and then joined on a full time basis in 2019 having previously worked at Aberdeen Crematorium. She co-ordinates the practical functions of our mortuary care, assists with administration, funeral plan sales and funeral duties.
Natalie Milne joined us in 2022 as a Funeral Service Operative and supports our mortuary care and vehicle preparations.
David joined our team in 2024 bringing 20 years of experience both as a funeral director and as a manager within a large funeral group in Aberdeen.
Callum works as a Funeral Service Operative supporting all practical functions of our work.
Mike joins us as a Funeral Service Operative, brining 20 years of experience as a chauffeur driver and providing care for our deceased.
Zoe has worked as a part time chauffeur with us for a number of years, driving families to and from funerals.
